Fund transfer to upstox using UPI

Services provided: Upstox provides a wide variety of services. As the company is registered with NSE, BSE and MCX, it allows the client to trade in intraday equity, derivatives, commodities and currency segment. If you have your Demat account with Upstox, then you’re eligible for brokerage free or zero brokerage investment in IPO, digital gold, and direct mutual funds. However, if you trade in other segments you’re charged a flat ₹20 brokerage per executed order. The clients also have the option to open their Global investment account and invest in 60+exchanges across 25 different countries. The Company along with its wide range of financial services, also helps clients know about upcoming IPOs, and well-prepared company financials, to help them make their investment decisions. Services like forex, or insurance service are yet to arrive on Upstox.

Transferring funds to Upstox account:
With online trading apps, investment is now easier than ever. Online trading had made the process smoother and less time consuming, anyone from any corner of India can invest with a touch of a button

This article will help you understand how to transfer money to your Upstox account through UPI. Other methods such as net banking, gpay, NEFT/RTGS/IMPS , and cheque.

Currently, there are two up-stock apps out there, in this article, you will find how to transfer funds in the old app as well as the new app.
Transferring money to the old app:
1] Open your Upstox app and login into your app with an Upstox id and password.

2] Proceed to the fund’s section, here you would find an option to add funds for Securities and derivatives.

3] Here you would find different options to add funds- choose your preferred method of payment

Payment option 1- UPI
1] In Upstox, adding funds via UPI is completely free of charge.

2] You need to choose UPI as a payment option. Then you would direct your UPI app on your phone. Just approve the payment there and your funds will be added instantly.

3] Here below is all the supported UPI apps listed:

Payment option 2- Net banking
1] To add money through net banking, click on the net banking option.

2] Then click on the account you would like to transfer the funds from. Write the amount you would like to transfer.

3] After this you will be redirected to the respective Bank’s Net banking page where you would have to enter your credentials to make the payment. Once the payment has been successfully made, the amount would be credited to your upstox account.

4] Note – ₹7 is charged per Transaction if you choose the Net banking option.

If you using the latest updated Upstox app this is the process to transfer funds:
1] Login to the upstox app using your 6 digit pin or biometrics.

2] You would need to click on the account button and then a waller screen will be reflected as shown below. Here you can see an add funds button you need to click on that.

3] You would see different options below to add funds, enter your amount and select your preferred payment method:
